Killer MosquitosKiller Mosquitos are relatively small flying machines that carry a strong spotlight and/or a video-camera. a couple of them are mounted in an exhibition space. they hang on a very strong spiral cable from a mounting bracket that is attached to the ceiling. They are sound activated. a microphone in the installation space is used as input to a FFT (fast fourrier transformation). each mosquito respondes to a specific band in the calculated sound spectrum. |
